System performance for local EMS agencies can be centered upon the ability to trend and benchmark performance against pertinent points of reference.  The NEMSIS Technical Assistance Center (TAC) attempts to standardize reporting to promote national, state and local EMS profile benchmarking.  Key to this effort is the availability of standard report specifications to ensure comparability.  This page contains all report specifications utilized by the NEMSIS TAC to build national and state level reports.  We encourage local EMS agencies and software vendors to implement these report specifications to allow local reporting to correspond to national and state figures.
