Important Announcement from the North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) - Data Import Compliance Testing
Sent: Monday, December 19, 2016 2:55 PM
Subject: Data Import Compliance Testing for NEMSIS v3
All Agencies currently using the NEMSIS Version 2 Import process (those using PreMIS Web to submit data may feel free to ignore this message):
The EMSPIC and the NCOEMS are beginning data import compliance testing for NEMSIS v3. Similar to the v2 process, your agency is required to submit sample PCRs to ensure that your data collection software product is properly configured for the North Carolina State EMS Data System. Successful completion of this process is required for your agency to gain approval from the NCOEMS to start formally submitting v3 data.
Note that there is no requirement for vendors to be tested individually because only those vendors listed with NEMSIS as NEMSIS V3 Collect Data Compliant for 3.3.4 will be eligible to test.
Updated Announcement April 26, 2017: Please note that after November 30, 2017, no Version 2 data will be accepted by the North Carolina Office of EMS. Access the official announcement document from this link: V3 Data Collection Compliance and V2 closure date (pdf).
To begin testing, please contact Jeff Robertson at the EMSPIC at firstname.lastname@example.org or (866)773-6477.
