Careful consideration of the posted request for revisions to the NEMSIS version 3.5.0 standard commenced in early 2018. The TAC initiated focused discussions during the NEMSIS Annual v3 Implementation meeting, bimonthly v3 Implementation webinars, and through NASEMSO Data Managers Committee calls. An initial release of v3.5.0 was made available in September 2019, with the most recent critical patch added in May of 2023.
