“The NHTSA Office of EMS has created an engaging two-minute animated video that follows EMS data from the moment they are collected at the scene to when they are analyzed and used to improve care from the local to the national level. The video, intended for all members of the EMS community, highlights the importance of collecting and sharing accurate information, and the numerous ways agencies, policymakers, researchers and others use it.” Check out the EMS Data Use Video
Discussions held during the 2017 V3 Implementation Meeting in Deer Valley kicked off the review of standard revision requests under consideration as part of the Version 3.5.0 update. The NEMSIS TAC organized revision requests into three categories: 1) Agile requests [ready for consideration]; Deferred requests [need additional information to implement] and; Declined requests [not compatible with the NEMSIS standard]. 2017 V3 Implementation Meeting participants voted on each item preliminarily categorized into these three groups.
